Payment is due at the time of services rendered.
From time to time services fees will be ajusted to reflect the service rate comparatively to others in the field. Clients and this website will be notified with time in advance to make the most informed decision about their finances and treatment needed. This new fee rate has been updated as of January 2023.
Canellations done within 24 hour notice will not be charged. If not within the 24 hour window, I will charge half of my rate for the session scheduled.
My standard fee for counseling service is $150 for a 50-minute individual session. Indvidual sessions lasting longer or shorter than standard session are available at a rate of $75 for each 30-minute individual therapy interval or $37.50 for every 15-minutes.
The No Surprises Act, part of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2021, forbids patients from receiving surprise medical bills when seeking emergency services or certain services from out-of-network providers at in-network facilities.
I can provide you at your request a good faith estimate of what your total therapy services may end up costing you, at any point in your work with me whether you use your insurance services with me or not.
A “Good Faith Estimate” is a document that explains how much your medical and mental health care will cost.
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.
You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
